Our story

How SGH started

Founded in 2011, Sinar Global Hygiene (SGH) set out to give organisations a more reliable, specialist and technically supported alternative to conventional cleaning.

Since then, we've expanded into contamination control, technical cleaning, floor restoration, indoor air quality and environmentally responsible chemical solutions.

Today, SGH supports commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing and public-sector facilities across Malaysia, with a focus on safety, compliance, innovation and long-term customer confidence.

2000s

Industry experience begins

Building experience in cleaning, hygiene, contamination control and environmental services, the foundation SGH was built on.

2011

Sinar Global Hygiene incorporated

Incorporated in Malaysia on 8 July 2011.

2011 to 2017

Building the foundation

Professional cleaning services, hygiene products and chemicals, cleaning machinery, contamination control, pest control and fumigation, training and technical services.

2018

Major expansion into specialised hygiene

Nano-coating technology, indoor air quality control, pest control, kitchen hood and duct cleaning, dry carpet cleaning, deep hygiene cleaning, sanitisation and decontamination.

2019 to 2022

Strengthening technical capabilities

Investment in specialised machinery, eco-friendly technology, and training.

2020 to 2021

Supporting hygiene and sanitisation needs

Supporting hygiene and sanitisation needs through the pandemic period.

2022 to 2024

Expanding specialised services

Cleanroom and contamination control, stone and floor restoration, kitchen hood cleaning, indoor air quality, post-renovation cleaning, air-conditioner and duct cleaning, dry carpet cleaning, nano-coating, green cleaning.

2024 to 2025

International equipment and technology

Expanded machinery and chemical portfolio, representing I-Team, Wetrok, Osprey, Cleantec and Premiere.

2025 to 2026

Contamination control solutions

Strengthened CC Matting business, installations for hygiene-sensitive and semiconductor sites, recent projects in Penang and Melaka.

Green and sustainable hygiene

Eco-certified chemicals, green technology and sustainable practices. MyHIJAU Services certified.

Our team

16 people. Trained, supervised, always improving.

Our team includes operation managers, head technicians and technicians, trained and supervised in the field. All technicians complete ongoing technical, safety and product training, and two of our team are certified CC Matting installers.

We work as a trained team, not a single point of failure: every site gets a supervised crew, not one contractor.

Our head office in Sentul houses our operations team, product showroom and equipment warehouse, all under one roof.

Giving back, hands-on

Beyond client sites, we put our hygiene expertise to work in the community. We've supported the Clean City project in Penang and carried out carpet cleaning for mosques.
